It is the weekend and my workout...

It is the weekend and my workout schedule is more causual than during the week.  I went to the gym after church so I had make-up on.  I hate going to the gym with make-up on. :)

So I stated yesterday that I was not going to do much cardio today – this is what I did:

Recumbient Bike: 20 minutes doing Crosstraining starting with resistance of 5 and going to resistance of 20.  Cooled down for 5 minutes. Burned under 300 calories.

Back exercises:

Cross Cable pulldown 4 sets with 10 reps each at a weight of 60lbs.

Dumbbell Deadlift 4 sets, 12 reps each, weight of 25lbs

Cable Straight Arm pulldown 4 sets, 15 reps, weight of 60

Inverted Row on Smith Machine - I could hardly do these.  I am going to have to work on these.  I only did 2 sets with 2 reps.  Can you beleive that????  What a whimp!

 I also walked backwards on the treadmill for 13 minutes with a varied incline from 0-5 and speed of 3-3.4.

Total calories burned were 580.  I call that a light workout.  I strive to get at least 750 calories a workout.  My workout time was a little over an hour.

 I made the Caribbean Salad from Jillian’s book “Making the Cut”.  It was excellent.  But had to add tequila to the salad dressing mix—it blended perfectly with the seafood.  Yumm . . . .will make it again.

I haven’t had any candy since I started the blog site, but I did take a tiny bite of my son’s cookie—and I nibbled on a pop-tart and then realized what I was doing and stopped.  I am chewing gum again!!!

 Tomorrow is a day off from working out.
