Learning From The Critics “If ssssss-sexy never left then why’s everybody on my shit-it-it?
Don’t hate on me cause you didn’t come up with it”
I’ve blogged in the past about the critics, you know those people who don’t do it in the real world, just behind a keyboard. I’ve been both bitter and happy about it before. Well I just got my first lesson from them. My newest article
Advanced Cutting Strategies for Physique Perfection has just been released and some people have some pretty negative things to say about it. It was the first time I ever got a good amount of criticism so naturally I reacted angrily. I called my good friends AJ Roberts (www.elitesportstraining.com ) and Tony Gentilcore (www.gentilcorestraining.com) to rant about the critics. I chewed both of their ears off for a few minutes then hung up and I learned the most important lesson in my carrier to date.
Those who criticize me can kiss my ass
It doesn’t matter if it is online or in personal, if you are negative, you can kiss my ass. I have no problem listening and taking the advice when someone I respect comes to me and offers some advice or constructive criticism, hell Eric Cressey (
http://www.ericcressey.com/ ) offered some very helpful advice a few days ago.
Everyone knows Bill Clinton, Bill Clinton doesn’t give a damn what you, my sisters or I think of him. He is as bulletproof as they come. Just look at how he handled his White House controversy. He got shit from every angle and smiled through it all, he handled it so well that he is probably the most in demand public speaker today. You just can’t fade the guy.
That’s where I’m at, I don’t care what some Internet dork, self-proclaimed “ best trainer”, friend, associate or anyone else thinks or says about me. If they’re negative and want to talk shit then chances are that’s the reason they suck at life………
They only tackle the one with the ball
