Make Your Own Sports Drink

How you feelin'?

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Yes I am, am, am.

Yesterday was 84 degrees.

I can't believe it's late April and already hot as heck out there.

I'm sweating just thinking about another hot and humid Summer in D.C.

When the temperature heats up, make sure you drink up...

always replace the fluid, carbohydrates, and electrolytes lost during a workout in the heat.
 

Here is anElectrolyte Sports Drink RecipefromLivestrong.com 


Mix 1 cup of orange juice





With 1 cup of water





Add a pinch of salt




And presto...
Your Homemade Electrolyte Sports Drink




Or as I call it salty watered down orange juice!

Whatever you call it, it's a cheap n' easy way to refuel this Summer.
