My workout for Monday 6/22/2009

Chest Yes, I am still around and working hard :-) I had some computer issues that I had to get resolved before I could get on here and post. Well those are now resolved and here I am. My workout on Monday was really good. I feel I got a lot accomplished  and I am still a little sore today as well.  My eating plan is on track as well and I finally had a bit of a cheat meal yesterday when I was out with friends. I didn’t go overboard and that was a good feeling . I just had a couple things that I am not suppose to have on my regular eating plan, like cheese ans a couple of small well portioned deserts ( a small sliver of pecan pie with some delicious chocolate gelato). Now that I think about it I suppose I shouldn’t of had those treats but what’s done is done. I have to make sure I have some more self control next time.

Well I started Monday morning off with doing a bit of cardio of:

  • 51 minutes @ Treadmill, 3.03 miles, Average speed of 3.57 mph, Incline levels of 7-9% & 790 calories burned.

I probably should have done a full hour but I was already getting  close to being late for my workout with Chris. Monday was chest and back day.

We did 4 sets with 15 reps /set of:

  • Incline Dumbbell Arnold Press
  • Assisted Chest Dip
  • Seated High Row
  • Dead Lifts
  • Hammer Strength Isolateral One arm Chest Press
  • One arm standing Cable Row
  • One lap around Track

Like I mentioned earlier we repeated the above set 4 times.

So that wrapped it up fro that workout. Now I have Tuesday and Wednesday fro my rest days and then come Thursday it will be leg day. I also have one week to go before my 8 week official weigh in and body measurements. Talk about being nervous. I am just going to keep on doing what I have been and hope that come next week the hard work will show in my evaluation. If now I am sure I’ll pay the price with harder workouts. :-)

It’s time fro breakfast now and since it’s suppose to get to 104º degrees today I’ll probably be out by the pool today cooling off with some swimming. So I guess I’ll get some exercise in today. God, I love this time of year.
