As you can see, Bella has had a very rough day:
I went to Target this afternoon (hooray for new school supplies) and to Publix for peanut butter and bars. When I was looking through the bars, I wanted to check out the Larabar flavors since I loved the Apple Pie one so much. I was stoked to see they had peanut butter cookie!!! I grabbed two of those to try, and a Coconut Cream Pie flavored one, as well as the usual Z-bars and Pure Proteins.
On my way to spin I munched a small oddly-shaped apple and one of the Peanut Butter Cookie Larabars.
Miss VeggieGirl , I can totally see why this is your favorite Larabar-- I'm in love. It was so chewy and peanut buttery... it almost felt like I was eating raw peanut butter cookie dough. AAAAAAMAZING :D I'm hooked!!!
Spin class was awesome and the hubby met me at the gym to follow me home. We came home and made a beautiful feast(thank you so much for all of you suggestions!!! They helped immensely!): salmon seasoned with salt and pepper and pan-seared. I made a maple-glaze out of brandy, maple syrup and 2 ts light cornstarch, coated the salmon with that and baked it for 15 minutes at 375. We had it over warm spinach and garbanzo salad with a baked sweet potato. It was a great anniversary dinner :)
I also had two glasses of my favorite drink: Baileys and Kahlua with fat free milk
I didn't want to go super-crazy with dessert in case we go out to eat this week, so we had fat free sugar-free white chocolate Jell-pudding in dark chocolate shells with chocolate shavings. It was soooooooo good.
We're about to watch a movie :D If I don't get the chance to catch up on all of my favorite blogs later tonight, I definitely will do so in the morning!!!
Thank you for all of the anniversary wishes!!! Have a wonderful evening!!!
Much love,
G
