Hey! Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
I’m back in V-town now, and had such a blasty the past 3 days in Orlando. Here’s the Saturday re-cap:
I woke up bright and early to go for a 6-miler with the incredible Meghann. I was freezing when I woke up, but had the feeling it would be a beautiful day and tried to convince myself that I would warm up as soon as we started running.

We talked the entire time, which I loved, and before I knew it, the 6 miles were over!

Thank you Meghann! It’s so nice to have an Orlando running buddy :D
After the run, I grabbed a Larabar before Megan and I went to our first Bikram yoga class ever.

(Blurry pic, but it’s Christmas –aka Ginger Snap- flavored, courtesy of VeggieGirl )
BIKRAM YOGA WAS OUTTA CONTROL. It was a 90 minute class, and I was sweating like a beast the entire time. The room was 105* and was a totally different style than anything I’ve ever tried. I started to feel light-headed after 10 minutes of being in the super heated room and even though I had chugged a ton of water before class, I thought it would be smart to have some more. I reached down to pick up my water bottle and the instructor told mer “ Water break is in 20 minutes”. SHEESH!!!!
I’ve gotta say, by the end, I felt glorious. It was so incredible to get all of the toxins out and so nice to stretch after the morning run.
I told the pilot all about it and he refers to it as “oven yoga”:D
We went back to the house and got ready to meet Jenna for lunch at Whole Foods.
We got the hot bar (of course):

And I had some coconut water with lunch:

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Jenna before, but it was so much fun to hang out and catch up over lunch. She is one of the people whose virtual personality total matches her real personality - she’s just as sweet and fun as you would imagine from reading her blog.

Megan and I were so glad she drove up from Tampa to meet us for lunch!
She even brought us COOKIES!!!!

She wrote the ingredients on a little card (which were all super healthy) and as we drove away, Megan and I couldn’t resist trying them:

These were quite possibly the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had. Chewy, moist, chocolaty, healthy, incredible :D Thank you, Jenna!
Megan and I were slightly exhausted from yoga, running and shopping, so we got a little Bizzle pick-me-up:

We went home, got dressed in a flash and met my Aunt and her friends at Maggiano’s for her birthday dinner.
I had some Shiraz:

Minestrone:

Shared asparagus with Megan:

Vegan chocolate cake from Whole Foods:

The service as a little slow, so we were just chilling at the table and chatting (there were twelve of us total) and Megan and I left the table to go to the powder room.
There was a wedding going on in the banquet hall and they were playing good music, so , we uh, well, went into the wedding.
I don’t consider us official wedding crashers because we didn’t eat any of their food or drink any of their alcohol, but we did dance to the Cha Cha Slide and a Michael Jackson song.
A groomsman took our pic:

Hilarious :D
We left dinner and…were still hungry.
So we stopped at a Lebanese restaurant called Cedar (which is open until 2am and has a Lebanese band and bellydancers!) and the owner asked what we wanted. We told him we were vegetarian, so he said he would have them make a sampler plate of tabouli, babba ganoush, hummus, spinach pie and falafel.

(I ate the innards of the spinach pie, not the white fluffy flour part)
In a nutshell, it rocked my face off :D
Well I’ve gotta crash so I can wake up for 7am Zumba, but I’ll be back tomorrow with the day 3 re-cap and all of the grocery purchases
Have a wonderful night <3
