http://www.kettlebellplanet.com/ When most people think of, or train with Russian Kettlebells, they focus on explosive movements like the swing, clean or snatch. These are great exercises and I encourage you to do them but there are a lot more exercises you can do with a Russian Kettlebell. One of my favourites is the Renegade Row. The Renegade Row is a very difficult push up/row hybrid that will challenge your entire upper body and strengthen your core at the same time. I am no expert on them but I posted a video of me trying my best to execute the movement. I like them because you will get a great pump in the chest, back and arms but at the same time are doing an abdominal exercise. Personally I don't have the patience to spend a lot of time on abs so this exercise makes sense to me. Check this video out and give them a try yourself. If you don't have kettlebells, try dumbells, I don't see why these wouldn't work just as well. |
