Has anybody watched the new show, "Shaq's Kids", on T.V.. I watched it just the other night and am glad that I haven't cut off my cable yet, which I was about to do. If you haven't seen it here is a quick synopsis. Shaq takes about 6-8 middle school kids that are obese(not overweight, I mean obese, morbidly in some cases) and trys to whip them into shape. This show is going to be a hit, even if you don't have kids, watch it.
What I like about the show is how Shaq and some of his crew tackle some of the "Roadblocks" to fitness. From dealing with schools that don't have mandatory P.E. programs to parents that are ignorant about their child's plight.
If you watch the show and follow the kids, wait til you meet their parents. Everyone of them is overweight or obese themselves. These kids don't have problems with weight control, they have parents that have problems with weight control.
Our kids are a reflection of us. Is Junior a little chunky?.....if he/she is......?!
