Like all Tuesdays after work I spend it with a dear friend and we pal around into the later afternoon hours. I really look forward to this day because of the quality time I can spend with this dear friend. We do do a variety of things like eat brunch, do some shopping and of course what’s the day without a stop off at Starbucks. 
Well it was a good day and like the title says a victory was made today.
Part of the reason for going shopping was because I needed some more white dress shirts for work. The ones I have been wearing are a bit old, worn and to be honest a bit to big (Size 3XL). To be honest I utterly hate and detest shopping for clothes. I would rather have a needle poked in my eye it it allowed me to not have to shop. It’s just so frustrating and it really annoys me. That being said what had to be done , had to be done. I do have to look presentable for work so I toughed it out and did the shopping.
Now of course the dress shirts were all packaged and the clerk at the dressing room had to unpackage it and then she’d let me try it on. Well being me, I need to try on a variety of sizes and designs. I could tell she was getting a bit annoyed with me as well cause she commented that we couldn’t keep doing this and I said “We’ll keep doing this till I find a shirt that fits me and one that I am comfortable buying” It’s like I was bothering her or something. Some clerks just really piss me off with there attitude like I am a bother to them. Then when she looked at one of the shirt sizes she looked at me and said ” You know that shirt size is and XL” and I said ” And your point is, plus I said I know that”. Well I was a bit hesitant in trying that size on but once I did it fit really good and I strolled out of the dressing room were my friend was and along with the clerk too, and said ” Wow this fits great. ” and it really did. So I walked out with my head held high realizing that I just went from a size 3XL to a plain old XL. What a great feeling that was. I can’t remember the last time I wore something that small and this is only the beginning of my weight loss journey. By the way my friend was quite impressed as well.
So that was my Big victory of the day.
Now that that is over I guess I’ll relax for a bit before I head off to bed. I have to rise early in the AM so I can get to the gym and after that probably will go swimming in my pool to cool down a bit. I have a feeling tomorrow will be another awesome day.
