My vacation is wrapping up real quickly here, but it doesn’t mean an end to the great feeling and goals that I still have in store for myself. It’s amazing what a little time away from work can do to ones mind and body. For me it was something I really needed in order to continue on with all that I plan for myself.
I did accomplish so much in these past 11 days, both mentally and physically. Many roadblocks and obstacles were overcome and tackled. This can only improve all aspects of my life and I know it will.
While I do have to go back to work that also means I probably won’t be blogging as much as I’d like, but like all things, I will do my best to keep you all informed with what’s up.
Now a couple things that I have been left to ponder on is what’s next for me. Well I do have a nother 5K coming up in January and next month I plan on doing some good hiking at Mount Charleston.

So that’s what I have in store for the following months, but this is only the beginning of what I want to do.
Now what I am pondering about are two possibilities of what I would like to do in 2010 and both of these ideas were inspired by two awesome people. The options are:
- Doing a 10K Race, inspired by Wendy
- Doing a Triathlon, inspired by Kim
I never thought that this would be a decision I would have to consider. Usually the only decision I would have to make is whether I wanted to go to Burger King or McDonald’s.
Boy how life has changed for me and it’s a change that I am embracing and one that I will know can only improve my way of life.
Now I know that some of you are saying, “Why not do both”. Well here is my take and perception about that. Each one of these events kind of require 2 different ways of training and preparing. This training takes time and with my studies, work, my working on the weight loss, it doesn’t really leave me with much extra time. So I would rather just put all my energy and training into one event.
Since I really did enjoy the 5K ,I am really hooked on the running aspect and the one event thing. With the triathlon you kind of have to excel in 3 events and that is something I am not sure I want to tackle. I do love on the concept of doing the 3 events all in one event. That would be a great accomplishment as well. So know you see why I am a bit torn on this decision. HELP!!
Well time for me to get off this computer and get some other things done.
Have a great day and make it the best you can!
