Too Much Fat Loss Q&A



Q:I was wondering if you could expand on your blog post about too much of a good thing with fat loss. How did you know 25lbs was the point at which to switch to muscle building, and after 8 weeks you would switch for sure, or depends on progress? Would you then switch back to fat loss?



A: It's all an individual based case. My client for example had little to no muscle mass, so for him adding some quality size would progress him through the roof. If you were working with someone who had a good amount of muscle mass and was a ecto (skinny) or mesomorph(in between skinny and muscular) then you'd probably continue with fat loss.



Nothings ever certain though so after 8 weeks of trying to increase size with small amounts of fat loss, we'd switch to a full fat loss focus.
