Welcome to a 3-part series on a strength training technique called Unilateral Training. Over the next three blog posts I will: 1. Define it 2. Explain it's benefits 3. Discuss how to use it Today we are going to define it... Unilateral training is basically exercising one-side of the body at a time. For instances, performing a lift with only your right arm. Or doing a leg exercise with only your left side. Don't roll your eyes, this is not just another fad like other unilateral statements of the past! I guarantee this will have much more staying power and catch on greater than Michael Jackson's glove, Kerry Kittles's sock, or Nelly's band-aid ever did. ![]() ![]() ![]() Jeez, I hope someone would have slapped me with Michael's sparkling white glove if I ever wore a band-aid under my eye like Nelly did. And for that matter, I will slap you if you don't come back tomorrow to read about The Benefits of Unilateral Training. |
