What's your favorite 30 minute workout?

Posted by Mary Ann P.

IF you've only got thirty minutes to workout what do you pick? I go for Pilates or a walk myself.

how sitting activity will help in cardio workout

we can go for walking. because it is a best and economocally  safe exercise

When limited to 30 minutes, I usually do Turbo Jam or punching on a bag. Or go for a good bike ride.
I like to combine weight training with some yoga, some core, excerise with the ball and keep changing that from time to time.
I ride my bike around the block with my six year old daughter in the trailer. The long slow hill from the beach to home is quite the challenge I need to get my blood pumping!
Kicks and punches on a training bag. That is a workout.

I run for 15 minutes then do 15 minutes of crunches, push ups, squats and lunges. If I don't feel like running then I do a Tae Bo workout for 30 mins.

I do KettleBells. They are by far the best work out around for the results and time commitment.
I take a 30 minute abs class at Gotta Dance Atlanta and they only cost $5.00 for all of their abs classes!
Bike. Definitely. Sometimes treadmill, but I like sitting and working out.
25 to 30 minutes of Yoga is usually my choice.

Full body circuit supersets with minimal rest between sets. Choose a push exercise then a pull exercise, for example lunges right into rows. This allows whats called active rest. Chose a moderate weight that allows you to only perform 10-12 reps. Rest for 30-60 seconds, no more, between each superset and then begin again. Do each superset twice until you have worked every major muscle group. Don't worry too much about smaller muscle groups as they are ultimately incorporated into your exercises as secondary movers. As you improve, decrease the amount of time spent resting. You should get a great 30 minute workout. Good luck and have fun

Soccer if you have friends. If alone, Taebo.
mr.
i would pick, lifting weights
If I'm really strapped for time I'll do some Tabata Intervals - full on intensity with minimal rest. You can get a pretty killer workout in less than twenty minutes
direct tv's total body scuplt with gilad on fit tv, channel 261
I like to do bodyweight circuits...quick and effective and great fat burners!
if you are at the gym, do 30 minutes of core body work (i.e. bridges, ball squats with hand weights, step ups (on bench) with medicine ball, floor scissors, etc.) - you break a sweat and focus on building up your core.
I usually pick a 15 min run/walk and 15 min elliptical. Definitely a cardio workout!
Swimming, definitely swimming. You can get an amazing 30-minute swim workout.
