Why YOU even go to the gym
I don't really think anyone really looks into why they do what they do, that is why do you go to the gym to begin with? I don't know how many people I see in the gym that are there to just say that they "workout". Well first off there's a difference between "working out" and "training".
One implies that you are there to sweat and the other implies that you have a definite purpose. Definite purpose is one of Napoleon Hill's 12 principles of highly successful people that he describes in Think and Grow Rich. Knowing exactly what you do when you set foot in the gym every time you are there.
I was recently asked by someone how long I plan my training out. That is do I know what I'll be doing in four weeks.
Yes I do, I know exactly what I'll be doing. I plan my training in four week cycles, that is I do the same thing for four weeks after that I adjust based on my current goal, results or future goals.
Case in point, I knew that on May 1st I'd be dieting so the last few weeks of April were spent focusing on certain areas that I wanted to bring up.
