What would cause cramps on the left side of my head that spread to my face from a fibromyalgia patient

After I was hit by a car two years ago, I developed fibromyalgia.  Since then I get painful muscle spasms on the left side of my head where my head hit the windshield.  The spasm usually spreads to my cheek and jaw are sometimes locking my jaw.  What could be causing this?
