A vaccine is made up of several different substances and components. Most vaccines need to include additives, to help improve their effectiveness and to increase their shelf life. The three primary substances which are added to vaccines include:
All three of these additives play a very important role in vaccines. The additives in vaccines will pose no risk to your, or your child's, health. The additives tend to improve the safety of a vaccine rather than compromise it. Vaccines always undergo years of development and testing to ensure that they are safe to use.
Some vaccinations may include stabilizers which contain traces of egg protein and gelatin. For example, the measles vaccine contains traces of egg. In very rare cases, this may provoke an allergic reaction. However, the reaction will usually be very mild, and rarely requires treatment. If you are concerned that you, or your child, may be affected by an allergy when taking a vaccine, speak to your doctor for further advice.
Hmmm. So, a couple of questions for you.
1) Would you eat foods that contain purposely added Mercury and Formaldehyde if they were called "addititives" and the government told you that those foods "needed" to have mercury added in order for the food to stay fresh?
2) If there is a new flu vaccine out each year, and they don't know which flu viruses will be around until the year before- how is it that the vaccine could have undergone "years" of testing?
3) What statistics do you have that show that the flu virus has saved any chidren's lives?
4) What statistics do you have that show that the HPV (cervical cancer) vaccine has saved anyone's life?
5) What statistics do you have that show the chicken pox vaccine has saved children's lives?
6) Why is it recommended that newborn's receive the Hepatitis B vaccine when the only way to get Hepatitis B is by IV drug use or unprotected sexual activity (besides getting an unclean needlestick from childhood vaccinations)?
