Blood Test Normal Range

Hi,
I just want to ask what is the normal range for Hemaglobin and Hematocrit.
Because i was confuse on the result that i had here in Japan.
It's say the normal range for Hemaglobin is 13.0-16.6 g/dl and Hematocrit is 38.0-48.9 %. And i got 18.1 g/dl and 52.3 % respectively. And base on their range is abnormal.
But when i check the internet and have some research i found the ff:
| Hematocrit | Male : 45 - 62%
Female : 37 - 48% |
| Hemoglobin | Male : 13 - 18 gm/dL
Female : 12 - 16 gm/dL |
I don't know if this correct or not. And based on this range i fall on normal range.
Any advise that can you give?
