can predisone cause eye cardacs

I am currently on 50 mg per day of predisone and have been diagnosed with cardiacs. Thee doctor feels the cause is the seroids. It has caused severe watering in both eyes ,which has blocked my far sight. The doctor has recommended to surgicaly implant a special lens that will block the predisone.
