Do you know of any remedies for doxycycline induced esophagitis?

I took a capsule before bed with little water. The next morning I felt pain in my chest like air was trapped and I needed to burp, but I didn't. I searched online and read others who did the same thing had the same symptoms as mine. Its been a week and I still feel soft food and drink irritate my esophogis in the chest area. Is there anything I can take to relieve this feeling until it is healed?
