Weak arm/shoulder....no pain

Posted by sdaznguy

I'm not a fan of medicine or hospitals, so I'm asking here as a last option before going to a medical place.

A few weeks ago I was removing large trays of dishes at work. (From shoulder height, twisted down to waist height).

I never experienced any pain or noticed anything wrong until later in the night I had problems lifting things with my right arm.

I thought maybe I pulled a muscle or something and made no note of it. It has now been over 2 weeks, and my right arm is as weak as ever. I have still not experienced any pain, if anything it feels better (used to hurt a little when rotating). My bicep can only lift a 5lb weight. I do 10 reps of 45 lbs with my left arm (I'm right handed). So it is significantly weaker.

I just recently discovered that I am just as weak when trying to lift my arm in front of me to should level. But only to the front side, I'm fine to my side.

Any ideas? I'd prefer to "work it out" with some advice, but if there is nothing I can do, I will head in this week for professional help.
