Another Reason to Plant a Tree

Tree_istock_000005038383xsmall Chronic exposure to air pollution can increase the risk of asthma attacks, but a new study suggests that planting more trees might (big surprise) improve air quality. Researchers at Columbia University found that children living on tree-lined streets have lower rates of asthma than their counterparts in treeless neighborhoods.
