Chocolate Cake

You need

1 1/2 cups sugar


1 3/4 cups flour/all purpose


3/4 cup cocoa


1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


1 teaspoon salt


2 eggs


1 cup milk


1/2 cup vegetable oil


2 teaspoon vanilla essence


1 cup boiling water





Method

Heat the oven to 160 * C. Combine the first six dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat for two minutes. Stir in the boiling water. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let the cake cool completely before slicing it.
