Wahoo! The peak of the weak is over. It’s all downhill until Monday’s Biochem test. April is going to be one crazy buzy month for me, but at least I have a really exciting May to look forward to: a big wedding bash in Charleston, a trip to New Orleans with Karen for Matt’s brother’s graduation from Tulane and a cruise to Bermuda the week after. Andrew will be graduating with a bang.
We nutritionists were all munchy today. Kelsey, Lauri and Ellen broke out their snacks and were kind enough to share them around. I had a few chips and hummus.

Followed by a sample of Ellen’s Coconut Acai Prana bar, which I loved.

But the real snack attack occurred when Kelsey went wild at the vending machine. Who is this girl!?!? I have never seen her eat junk food in my life!

My late afternoon snack was to be a choice of one of these:

I chose the Coconut Pie LaraBar during class and shared a bite with KLM.
My test went well tonight and I came home to find Sleeping Beauty just hitting the hay. I changed into my pajamas and tickled his back for a few minutes. Our only minutes to spend together all day
Then I put on my fluffy organic cotton robe from Quaker’s All Natural gift box and headed down for dinner. Love this robe, but it is HUUUGE on me. A size large. I have to roll up the sleeves. But it sure keeps me comfy and warm. I especially like the hood on cold mornings

Dinner was quick + simple: reheated Succatash Soup.

And a hunk of sourdough

Ready for transport into the living room for some House Hunters

Ahhh

My Lipton traveling companion Kelly put up her first tea post tonight: Tea Time: A Visit to a Sustainable Tea Plantation.
I’m really tired and off to bed early. Tomorrow’s going to be a long one, but with a really fun intermission at Kate + Nate ’s for one of our Thursday Lunch Parties!!
