Sorry for the belated post! Friday's lunch was a salad as usual! Bell pepper, beans, raisins, spinach, sesame dressing.

My pm snack was something new! I had a massaged salad for the first time. I tried it out, but kale in salad is not for me. I had about 2/3 of this plus...

Half of this tasty pro bar. I have found that pro bars aren't really my favorite, I far prefer other brands but I'm not really sure why.

I was still quite hungry before dinner for some reason so I had this awesome pear.

Dinner was a chili-salad. I had the rest of the massaged kale salad with a bunch of chili on top. This was actually amazing. Kale in chili-salad is fantastic.

And the most awesome part of dinner: sweet potato fries. Oh man I love these things. Been waaaaaaaaaaay to long since I've had them!

Then I was having some fun in the kitchen, so I made a sticky bun crumble for dessert for myself.

And I made this awesomely beautiful Chocolate Banana Cream Pie and shared it with the BF. He had to eat most of it since it was pretty big. It was amazing and I'll post the recipe up onDeliciously Healthythis week sometime!

After a lovely lazy friday night in it was off to bed to face the weekend!
Breakfast on Saturday was a combo of two new tasty treats. I made an almond hemp spread for my toast. 1 tbsp almond butter, 1.5 tbsp almond milk (either choc or regular) and 1 tbsp of hemp protein. This tastes amazing, almond-y and creamy. Plus it makes it a complete protein!

I added some blueberry fruit spread to the ezekiel + almond hemp spread combo. Then I also had the most amazing new food ever. I had chocolate chia pudding. This was outta this world delish and it was the most freaking easy recipe ever. 2 tbsp chia seeds soaked overnight in 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk and 1 tsp of Agave. This was magical. I used Ani Phyo's Almond Mylk in this one. Greatest breakfast ever.

Next, I made the BF some tasty Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes. Again, recipe will be up onDeliciously Healthythis week.

After breakfast, I took Wall-e out for a mile and half run since he had psycho amounts of energy. Today is my rest day, so I took it pretty easy with this "active rest."
My am snack was a breakfast slushie (look at me screwing with the order of meals!). Brown rice protein, 1/2 nana, frozen mango/pineapple/papaya chunks, tons of kale, flax oil, coco oil. Topped off with dried cranberries and gojis.

While the BF took some time to nap lazily, I ran some errands. Biked over to the store and picked up more chia seeds so I can have more of that tasty pudding!!
Saturday's lunch was....salad. Sorry for being so boring, but they are too good! This was the typical beans, bell peppers, raisins, spinach and seasame dressing but with some avo added in. How crazy awesome!

I had some bell pepper with bean/hemp/almond/avo dip for a quicky snack before heading out for date night with the BF.

We headed out to go grab something I needed then hit the movies. I had this larabar while watching the fabulous Bruno. The movie was very funny, pretty much a rehash of the Borat thing, but quite funny indeed. I enjoyed this larabar, but didn't really think it tasted like a cinnamon bun.

After the movie it was dinner time. We went to Rock Bottom Brewery and had the best date ever. This was the beer sampler. It was only$6.95 and had tastes of 8 beers. Needless to say, the BF was freaking excited.

Of course, I tasted a little of each beer and drank this glass of pinot noir. They give you a very generous serving!!

Our appetizer was a grilled artichoke with some lemony-mayo sauce. I only had a tiny bit of the sauce, since the artichoke was so fantastic on its own.

My entree was an ahi salad. It was sooo good! I am totally in love with this orange-sesame dressing. I'm totally making my own version soon.

After dinner, we came home for dessert. I made a raw cherry strawberry ice cream for the BF and I.

I found out a few mins later that I was still hungry and had half a pear.

We had enough time to chill and take the doggies for a quick walkie before bed.
Sunday breakfast was almost a repeat of Saturday. I had some vanilla chia pudding instead of chocolate today. Only difference is vanilla almond milk instead of chocolate. I put some of my left-over almond-hemp spread in the pudding. It was delicious. Still liked the chocolate a little better though.

Mmmmm look at the almond-hemp spread and pudding up close.

I made the BF breakfast again. Today was sticky bun pancakes.

After doing some cleaning around the house and taking the boogers for a walk, I had a breakfast slushie. Today it was 1/2 a pear, frozen mango/pineapple chunks, a bunch of kale, brown rice protein, coco oil, flax oil and raisins on top.

Then it was off to the gym for an hour on the stair climber. My body loves the relaxed slow-burn cardio days at the end of the week. I feel like it cleans out my system.
Lunch was almost the same salad as Saturday, but I put my attempt at orange-sesame dressing on it. Recipe is still in progress, but it is pretty freaking good!
