Good Afternoon!
Whew! It has been a busy morning and I have one evening client tonight and then my work day will be officially over. I had a great run this morning, nice and sweaty just like I like it. I got through all my classes and meetings and then headed off to school to Emmet's Ice Cream Party. He was so excited! He got a special award for getting Straight A's all year and for bringing the gift of Consideration and Excellent Citizenship to his 3rd grade class. I am a proud mama! (I am also tough... if he had not made straight A's I would have been upset!)
I came home extremely hungry and made myself the best sandwich today.
Chicken, White Cheddar and Red Onion on Cinnamon Raisin Toast 2 slices of Food For Life Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Bread, toasted.
2 oz. Chicken Breast
.5 oz of White Cheddar Cheese
2 tomato slices
1 thinly sliced red onion
1/2 cup spinach leaves
I love sweet and savory things and this was a great sandwich. The sweetness from the cinnamon raisin bread and the savory cheddar cheese, chicken and red onion was an awesome combo!
Steve is heading out of town bright and early in the A.M. and the kids have a half day of school so I want to pick them up and take them out for lunch to celebrate a great year of school. They both did such a great job and I think we are going to have a fun summer as well. I am going to take them to buy their summer journals tomorrow, that they will be required to write in daily to keep up their handwriting skills and just for fun as well. They also are going to Kumon (math enrichment) tomorrow afternoon and we will be continueing Kumon over the summer as well. I know I am such a nice MOM! Friday is going to be party day!! We are having 3 kids over for a long playdate to kick the summer off right.
