Fit In Exercise

Gah! I slept through my alarm this morning! Hate that! :evil:

Instead of my usual hour-long workout, I had just 30 minutes to exercise. I could have blown it off, but doing something is better than nothing, right? I started with 20 minutes of intervals on the elliptical (alternating 60-second sprints with 60 seconds of recovery) and finished with 10 minutes of strength training. I might try to squeeze in a run and/or more strength training this evening. I feel so cheated! ;-)

Breakfast

While frozen waffles are incredibly delicious, they typically don’t keep me full for long. This morning, however, I tried to pump them up with some hearty toppings that will hopefully help hold me over until lunchtime. 

I topped two Kashi frozen waffles with a mashed banana, agave nectar, raisins, butter toffee glazed Almond Accents, and ground flaxseed meal. The addition of sweet agave nectar, in particular, made my breakfast sort of dessert-y! :-D

With iced coffee…
