Hope everyone is doing well on this Sunday evening. My original intent was to have a completely lazy Sunday, but due to some schedule changes for the week, I ended up deciding to do my longest run of my first taper week today. I ran 8 miles:

I also did a few things around the house, ran to WFs, and made lots of food for my husband and his friend who spent the day on the couch watching football. Boys totally crack me up in the amounts and types of foods they can consume. First off, I made them some pretzel sticks out of my homemade pizza dough using
this recipe.

I put some sesame seeds on top and served them with marinara sauce:

Next, I made them nachos topped with mozzarella & cheddar, chicken, and hot sauce:

And lastly, I made them two pizzas using my homemade dough topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni:

And what did I have for dinner you ask ;). I tried a Golden Acorn squash for the first time:

stuffed with my usual beans & salsa. With a side of steamed broccoli and an apple.

Loved this! Tastes very similar to a regular acorn, just a bit sweeter. For dessert, I've been munching on a little more fruit and nut butter (delicious!).
