Luna-cy

Posted Mar 03 2009 4:28pm
Ok, I can now make an edumacated comparison between the Clif and Luna versions of the White Chocolate Macadamia bar. I've tried both, and survey says:

CLIF!

Don't get me wrong, the Luna bar was de-li-cious, but so very sweet. I'm not usually one to be overpowered by sweetness, but this was a tad over the top for my palate. One pro in favor of the Luna bar, however, was the very noticeable actual chunks of macadamia nuts. I could both see and taste them. Texture-wise, I prefer the Clif, though, and on that basis it wins. I just like the dense, chewy Clif texture as opposed to the rice-crispy-ness of the Luna.

Who am I kidding? Put either one in my hand and I would be a happy lady. I'd just rather eat a Lara Bar!
