Tips for reducing caffeine intake

So, I love to sip on coffee throughout my work day. I keep a mug on my desk all the time. It helps keep me motivated to get paperwork done. I realized that the amount of caffeine I was ingesting was not good for me, and about a year ago, I decided to cut back. I began by adding hot water to a 3/4 cup of coffee. Gradually, I have reduced the coffee amount, so that now I only do 1/4 cup of coffee to 3/4 cup hot water. I made the shift so gradually, that I don't even notice that the taste is diluted, and I can make a few cups and keep sipping it throughout the day, and will maybe have had the equivalent of one cup of full strength coffee by the end of the work day.
