Use a Visual For Water Consumption

I used to count my glasses of water to make sure I got in my eight per day, but I found a better way. Now I fill up a clear pitcher in the morning and empty it throughout the day. The visual of that pitcher on the counter works for me because every time I see it, I fill up my glass. It's a no-brainer. And I love not having to count the glasses! Plus, I think it evens out my water consumption. I'm not downing 16 ounces at a time anymore just because I've got to fit it in. I'm drinking smaller amounts all day long. I like my water room temperature so I like to keep it out, but you could refrigerate it too - it just won?t be staring you in the face as often. If you want to get really fancy and treat yourself, slice some cucumber or oranges to make it pretty and tasty!

That's a good idea. I always need a reminder and sometimes it's hard to keep up with how many glasses you've had. It can become quite a job.
