According to an article on CNN.com (click post title above), the FDA has deemed tomatoes safe to eat. A while back, I posted about the warnings against certain types of tomatoes that could have been causing salmonella. However, the FDA has now determined tomatoes in fields and sold in stores to be safe.
Amidst the good news about tomatoes, a warning is still out there against eating raw jalapenos and serrano peppers, which apparently may be linked to the salmonella outbreak.
