Tasty treats. Air popcorn is pretty good. Melt a small amount of peanut butter to drizzle on top. Nice flavor! I also enjoy whole grain water crackers.
Smoothies. I like to make smoothies with fruit and a bit of orange juice. They're great for breakfast or for a mid-day snack to get you moving. Try this recipe: 1 banana, strawberries (frozen), ice and about a 1/2 or 3/4 cup of orange juice. Put in blender on liquify.
Snap Peas. I just discovered Snap Peas, baked and salted, yum!!
Do Drinks Count?. I've been trying to stay away from evening snacking, and a nice beverage helps. Lately I love a little 100% cranberry juice (the super tart stuff) with Sprite Zero. I only use about an ounce of the cranberry because it's so strong. It's very flavorful and the juice is great for your urinary tract! Plus it is so pretty over ice in a nice glass!
Smoothie. Use a little less juice and add a small 4-6 oz serving of yogurt...mmm makes it creamier and maybe a bit more healthy.
Not the healthiest thing I could have.... However, I have been going crazy over Jell-o's fat free line of snacks. I have Jello's fat free chocolate pudding and jello. They are amazing. I have one (MODERATION IS KEY) when I have a sweet tooth. If I am having a carbs craving, I grab a Rice Cake. MMmmmmm. Sadly, those are harder to keep in moderation.
fruit fruit fruit. Fruit are: easy to find, taste great, convenient to carry and store, and have fun colors. My favorite ones are blueberries, strawberries, carrots (the baby peeled ones rule), peach, nectarines, apples...and I can go on and on and on
Granola bars. Of course if you have 3 that may defeat the healthy part, but they're definitely my favorite. I'm partial to the Quaker ones these days...
Goji Berries and cacao nibs in yogurt. Have you discovered superfoods? Goji berries and cacao are two wonderful ones. I use soya yogurt cause I don't have dairy. It is delicious, filling, and will give you some vital nutrients!
Dried Fruit. Dried apricots, figs, prunes...yummy. Nuts are also a good way to get through the day.
I'm pretty simple with snacks.... Celery and carrot sticks with low-fat dipping sauce, whole wheat crackers with organic peanut butter, grapes, any kind of berry or melon, and also air-popped corn are some of my favorites.
I like yogurt. And fruit is a biggie for me. I pretty much always have an apple in my purse, just in case.
I like plain Fage yogurt that I mix with local honey and vanilla extract. Sometimes, instead of the honey, I put in Splenda. Also, I like Labneh, the Lebanese yogurt/cheese, mixed with honey, olive oil, rose water, cinnamon and black pepper.
All kinds of fresh fruits and fruit juice.
Nuts. They have various valuable nutrients. But do keep quantity under control!
Sliced apples & peanut butter.
Apples and peanut butter are my favorite too, but I've also been very into edamame lately. And sauteed mushrooms -- I went out for a snack of sauteed mushrooms the other day and I'm thinking of going back for sauteed Kale soon (there's a diner type place near me with an amazing vegetable menu!)
I like RyCrisp crackers lately. They're really good with cheese :)

I like frosted mini wheats dry. They are good to go in small baggie and just sweet enough to feel like a treat!

sweet potato baked plain, top w apples and splenda/cinnamon, heat a little more.

also, muffin mix prepared w a can of pumpkin instead of eggs, butter, and oil.
