Ingredients:
1 whole garlic
1 small hot pepper - optional if not a lover of pepper
2 onions
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp ground curry powder
3 lbs chicken cut into pieces
4 potatoes, peeled and cut up
1/2 tbsp garam massala
1 piece of cinnamon stick
Preparation:
Cut garlic, onions, and pepper and heat the oil
in stew pan. Put in garam massala and curry
powder, cinnamon and add the cut garlic,
pepper and onion
Allow to fry on slow heat for about 3 to 4
minutes. Add the chicken and potatoes and
salt to taste.
Add one cup of water and cook on slow heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Check potatoes and continue cooking until the potatoes are fully cooked.
Curry can be eaten with rice, roti or dhol puri.
Curried duck, goat,lamb or beef may be prepared in the same way.
