I bought L'oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Makeup Foundation yesterday to compare if to my Mineral makeup and I was so happy to find out that the effects are almost the same. L'Oreal Foundation just holds longer and more coverage. Then I realized that I was comparing it to my Translucent Mineral Foundation. I ordered one ingredient to provide more adhesion and coverage for my own Full Coverage Matte effect Mineral Foundation.
But to compare the price, of course it's L'Oreal so it's definitely much expensive. It cost $18.79/10grams in a jar with brush on it. I am planning to sell my Mineral Foundation :
for $8.00/10 grams in a simple sifter jar without the brush
$13.00/10 grams in a simple sifter jar with Kabuki brush(goof 4 sensitive skin)
$15.00/15 grams in a jar with dispensing brush
My Mineral Foundation only have few simple ingredients compare to L'Oreal Mineral Foundation and their ingredients contain Bismuth which I am trying to avoid because of my sensitive skin. Although their waxes and oils are natural ingredients, but I still prefer to use Mineral Foundation without any waxes or oils because of my oily skin, especially during summer where my skin gets really oily. After few hours of using L'Oreal Mineral Foundation, I had two small pimples on my nose. Yaykkk!! this is how sensitive my skin is. My skin doesn't look for luxurious branded name cosmetic products, but products that will control the oil and sensitivity of my skin.
I still prefer to use my Mineral Makeup for my oily/sensitive skin because it doesn't contain wax or oil or bismuth. But I will soon create a formula that has more shimmery effects for those who want a little glow on their face. I sometimes want to have that too. But right now, my Mineral Foundation formula has a good coverage Matte effect.
I might create a formula that include wax and oil for those who have dry skin. But that will probably takes place when everything is going smoothly on my website and I am having sales and requests. I have oily skin so I will focus on formulas that I can and will personally use.
