Hey everyone,
So I have been feeling down in the dumps all day and getting myself psyched up that I may be catching what is going around our campus, my apartment, and everywhere. Throat still hurts, keep getting random chills, a little sluggish and nervous as hell.
After classes today I went to target to pick up the Emergen-C packets and I have been maintaining my food intake as well as constant fluids. I was able to get in a little rest today for about 3o mins. and I plan to hit the sack early tonight. My only hope is that I am psychologically making this worse than it is. I am strong, my body is strong, I eat healthy, I exercise, and I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
If the sickness hits me lets hope it be mild and whatever happens will happen. I am still preparing for my half marathon on Sunday I just hope my body can hold out and get me through it. I am VERY scared. Words can not explain to you how nervous I am about this. I have been working diligently and looking forward to this lets hope my body comes out on top!
Its hard to avoid the plague when your roommate gets it, the people sitting next to you in class have it, a large majority of our campus has it and your stuck in the middle of it.
Here are my breakfast and Dinner for you today. I did not take a picture of lunch #1 because I was not with my camera and #2 because I was starving and devoured it which is also a sign my body is in health.
Breakfast was oats as usual:
- 1/3 oats
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 small apple
- raisins
- cinnamon
- pb

Dinner: Tj’s black bean soup with added spinach and peppers. Laughing cow swiss sandwich with spinach, tomato, mushrooms, peppers, a little cooked egg whites, and deliciousness. I added a dollop of yogurt to my soup and enjoy 3 tiny apple slices as well.

Off to study for behavioral medicine test on Thursday!
