Yesterday, our CNO, Cyndie Cole, gave me a copy of an article titled Mission: Possible in Advance for Nurses, so of course I have to post it on my blog! Not because it is about my hospital, but because it is also about why I accepted my new position.
As I continue to meet new coworkers (we have about 1200) I'm constantly told, "I have been here for xx years" and:
- "this is the only hospital I want to work for",
- "I've been here since I started my career",
- "I will work here until I retire" and
- "you will love it here, too!"
Need I say more?
