
Today, I went straight to the gym after work to do 40 minutes light weight aerobics. I ate cereal and yogurt and half cup of skim milk. Hubby cook my favorite chicken stew, so I ate one small part of the chicken, just to satify my cravings
A lot of people's misconception about losing weight is avoiding carbohydrates. I used to avoid eating carbohydrates when I want to lose weight and this result to lack of sleep. I believe that carbohydrates is the most important part of our diet. I don't eat less when I really want to lose weight. Instead, I try to balance the food that I eat and keep myself as active as I can. I eat food rich in fiber like fruits and vegetables together with carbohydrates and drink as much water as I can, and stay as active as I can.
I still eat all my favorite foods like ice cream, cake, and candies, but I try to keep everything in moderation. I also don't count the calories of the food that I eat because this makes me feel more stress and conscious on how long should I go on a diet. I limit a small portion of meal four times a day, making sure the fruits is always included and a lot of water after meal. It's just about few changes in lifestyle. So far, I have lost few pounds in one week.
