Use It or Lose It

I went on a 60 minute bike ride yesterday.  I hadn’t been on my bike in a few weeks (since the tri), but I figured it would be easy.

False.

It’s amazing how quickly your fitness can go away after not sticking with it.  I have been running and doing other things, but my bike fitness feels like it has decreased a bunch.  I did the 60 minutes, but it was a lot harder than it used to be.

Bottom line?  Use it or lose it.  Stay active and consistent otherwise all the gains you’ve made go away.
