The video below captures our daughter, Riley, hearing our voices for the first time. Our audiologist is at the computer, her assistant is giving Riley toys to play with and helping redirect her attention, Riley's first A-V therapist is behind the audiologist, Ryan and I are there, and my parents are behind the camera.

My son is also implanted and I remember the first time he was able to hear. It is a miracle! He was a bit startled, and started to cry, but he got adjusted to it right away. Now he has a second one and he loves it.
