Happy Father's Day! We went to the local pool after breakfast to chill out a little and this happened.

Originally uploaded by Tiff1723 Riley jumped off the diving board at the public pool for the first time today. Once she started she wouldn't stop. She's getting brave. Now we just have to teach her to swim without her life jacket.
We also wanted to try the
swim with your cochlear implant experiment, but she was having none of that. Maybe next time we can work it out. Communicating at the pool is tough, of course, because without her CIs she can't hear. And we have to constantly use the signs we know, point, wave, and follow her around. We get as much of a workout at the pool as we do in the gym sometimes.
To Papa/Ryan:
Thanks for all you do to make life easier for Riley. And for being her playground and trampoline buddy. She is truly a "daddy's girl." She loves you, and so do I!
