STANFORD, California
Hi all, I'm a disability adviser at the Office of Accessible Education. I'm interested in health promotion activities and sustainability issues. My biggest personal health change this year has been to move to an area with access to public transportation. Since giving up my car I have lost weight, reduced my stress level, saved a bunch of money and made a few new commute buddies.

Tracey R.

San Francisco, California
I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the SF Bay Area in 1998. I love to hike and rollerblade, but I work at a desk job (student services & administration) so I've found it a challenge to get enough exercise. I've recently started working out on my lunch hours and walking on days I don't go to the gym. I can't believe how much better I feel! I love it!

I like doing exercise with music and have fun during the workout. I enjoy gourmet food. So I need more exercise. The only problem is not having regular time to commit my plan.

A few other items in the gratitude department are: living within biking distance of Stanford, so I can spare the air, save gas $, and get exercise commuting to work, being married to a cool guy, having two fun kids, and a good dog, great neighbors who are smart and...
