Kayaking Community - People

I love to play outdoors! Rock climbing, telemark skiing, mountain biking, windsurfing, etc... I'm an Ironman finisher, but generally preferred Olympic Distance Triathlons. These days I'm mainly mountain biking, rock climbing, swing dancing.

I like to run outside, on the treadmill, or on the elliptical. I used to do crew, so rowing is my hidden passion. I'm also into pilates, yoga, step aerobics, and basic cardio :) See facebook for other info!

I like to read, read some more, and then do a bit of reading. If I'm not doing that, I'm kayaking, playing with the cats, or hugging my boyfriend.

I'm one of the deans for religious life on campus, a former collegiate coach and professional tennis instructor. Staying active and fit has been a priority for me and will be for as long as I'm able!

I am a history professor at Stanford. Recently relocated to California. Looking for exercise buddies and friends for outdoor activities!

Currently I am president of Stanford Outdoors, which is working to coordinate all of the outdoors groups on campus. I am also a member of the Stanford Triathlon Team, Stanford Cycling Team, BioMASS (a political and social organization for graduate students in biomedical sciences), all of the groups overseen by Stanford Outdoors, and an Outdoor Educuation Instructor (OEP).
