So this marks my 200th post and I kinda figured I would kind of bring a subject up.
I am trying to start a Dialysis Nurse and Tech Union. Dialysis nurses are extremely underpaid and many times the benefits are far less then those offered at the hospital. The appeal to work in the field of nephrology is simply not there.
Nurse R, my beloved ex clinical coordinator has been a CNN for 20 years, she only got a .5% raise for having her CNN…yes, that makes everyone want to run out and get one.
So, I am asking for advice and for support if you so wish to supply it. I have places I can start and am aligning a few people to make this happen. Nephrology is near and dear to my heart, it’s about time to start giving it some support.
So, who’s ready to start a change?
