Can one have a low red blood cell volume and a normal red blood cell count?

Two different tests I had at two different facilities seem to be contradicting one another so I want to make sure I understand the difference between red blood cell COUNT and red blood cell VOLUME. One test shows I have a severe red blood cell VOLUME deficiency, while the other test shows I have a normal red blood cell COUNT. Is this possible?
