cause of burning sensation in urination and pinkish urine?

my husband had burning sensatin in uniration and with pinkish urine,before he had a u.t.i due to training he undergo...i just finish my period and we had sex,is it the reason?but before that he already complaining that his lower abdomen sometimes felt pain.....thanks!

Could be a Urinary tract infection.  Does it feel like you have to pee frequently?  It's something that would probably be good to go to the doctor about... They'll probably do a urine test and give you antibiotics.  In the future you can avoid them by drinking cranberry juice.  Drinking lots of water also can help.
