According to the WiiFit, I lost 1.5 pounds since I used it last (which unfortunately was 6 days ago). But it's progress nonetheless, so I'm happy.I began to improve my diet on Monday. I've been bringing low-fat granola and celery for small snacks during the day.I worked up quite a sweat on the WiiFit, and I've got more home renovations planned that will definitely work my arms and back.Hopefull...

I've been active lately, walking and lifting a lot as I renovate my home. I haven't been to the gym as much, and my diet has been the worst it's been in a while.I'm really realizing now that I need to make a change. When I typed that entry title, I pictured myself like a someone in the desert determined to go to the nearest source of water. I feel lately like the gym is this mirage of sorts, getting there seems like a goal that's almost unattainable. And it's not that I don't want to go. I really do. But life happens. Luckily, my Wednesdays are great, with a workout in the form of an hour long dance class....

I weighed myself this morning. I know I said I'd wait until Monday, but heading into the weekend, where I'm going to be on my feet at work quite a bit the entire weekend (hence no time for gym), but also at a celebration for a friend, I want to see if I can eat sensibly and not snack much.See you Monday!

It really is.I'm signing up with a personal trainer. Yay! I've always wanted to. It's only for a few sessions because it's what I can afford, but it'll still be a step in the right direction.
