Fatigue is a Signal

Are you tired a lot? I mean, REALLY tired? Being fatigued sometimes is natural; feeling chronically fatigued is a signal that something is not right. Here’s a list of some of the most common causes for ongoing fatigue, both physical and mental:
- Multiple sclerosis
- Chronic fatigue syndrome.
- Lupus (systemic)
- Under active thyroid (hypothyroidism)
- Allergies
- Leukemia
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Having the AIDS virus
- Anemia
- PMS
- Lack of sleep
- Poor eating habits and malnutrition
- Migraine headaches
- Chemical sensitivities
- Burnout/overexertion
- Boredom or monotony
- Major life changes/feeling helpless
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Certain medications like antihistamines and tricyclic antidepressants
Always talk to your doctor about fatigue persisting for 6 months or more, as it could be your body’s way of telling you there’s a problem.
