It’s getting hotter in our country every day since its summer. There are times I wish we have a car so that we can troop to nearby resorts or beaches to cool off. As days goes by, my desire to own a car (either brand new or second hand) is always haunting me. lol. But I have apprehensions. Really, driving may not be my forte and I’m still scared from the slight accident I have with our car a few years back. Yet, I know I have to overcome that fear because its a lot more convenient to us to have a car and me to drive.
Yet, I know it does not end with buying a car. In fact, it only starts from there. Once we have the car we will be face with other expenses like insurance, car maintenance etc. Also if its second hand car, based on experience, we need to allot a yearly budget for car parts (who knows when the car will need a carbon fiber hoods ). So, even if I badly wanted a car there are too many factors to consider. And now, for this summer, we would just settle to be indoors and if there are out of town trips we would be just renting vehicles again. But hopefully next year I would be driving our own car.
