
If you are having a response, get tested. There is controversy surrounding whether an individual can be infected with Lyme Disease if there is no Bull's Eye rash. Take it from me- I never had a rash and now have a severe, chronic infection that has lasted 15 years. My advice is to stay safe. If they will not test you, they may simply give you a couple courses of antibiotics that will treat the issue. This is a site that has a list of medications that are plausible:
