Getting rid of calluses

It's sandal weather but if you tend to get lots of calluses, you're likely to want to stick to sneakers. Calluses are raised layers of thick, dead skin; when they're on your soles, they're calluses, but on top of your toes, they're called corns. they occur when too much pressure is placed on the feet, and for women, this generally happens through ill-fitting shoes. But it's easy to ward them off; once or twice a week, while you're in the shower, just rub the area gently with a pumice stone and follow with a cream designed to soften callused skin.
